It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean R. Prothero (Beaver, Pennsylvania), born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 13, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband John T. Prothero; her brother Charles Reader; her children, Kathy Bittner (Larry), John T. Prothero, Jr., Patterson Heights, Lynne Shallcross (Dave), Beaver Prothero and Bob Prothero (Debbie); her brother Wayne (Kathrine); her sister-in-law Helen Reader of Rochester; and her grandchildren, Lyndsay Owens (Brandon), Lori Hummel (Matt), John Prothero (Nicole), Amanda Wall (Ricky), Eric Prothero, Courtney Shallcross and Connor Shallcross.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be made to Park Presbyterian Church, 275 Commerce Street, Beaver, PA 15009.
