He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Marjorie Huffman McClain; and his son John Charles McClain, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Amber McClain; his stepchildren, April Roe and Daniel Roe (Barb); his siblings, Dennis McClain (Kathy), Tim McClain (Bonnie), Faith Ann Staneart (Keith) and Sharon Romich (Dan "Sonny"); his grandson Isaac; and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
