He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Edith Irene Downey; his wife Mary L. Downey; and his brother Eugene Downey. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Haywiser (Jeannie), Brighton Twp, William Haywiser (Debbie), Wayne Downey, Bridgewater, Chris Tharp (Michael Sly) and Cindy Parkinson (Colby); and his sister Teddy (Arthur). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
