She was predeceased by: her parents, Claytie Dotson and Stella Dotson; and her husband Charles S. Engelman, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles Engelman, Jr. (Charyl), Deb Smith (Ron) and Karen Potts, Sr. (James); her siblings, James Dotson of Newell, WV, Harlan Dotson and Esther Stout; and her grandchildren, Brittany Gathagan (Michael), Charles Engelman III, Kristen Read (Dave), Gary Morgan (Emily), James Potts, Jr., Jason Potts, Ramsey Potts, Simon Potts and Vivian Potts. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
