It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karla Jean Steele of Bedford, Pennsylvania, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Berlin Hedrick and Ruth Elizabeth Hedrick (Twigg); and her brother Edwin Hedrick. She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" Steele; her son Ivan Steele (Nicky); her grandchildren, Rebecca of Bedford, PA and Evan Steele of Bedford, PA; her siblings, Ronald Hedrick (Carol) of Hedgesville, WV, Royce Hedrick, Larry Hedrick, Evelyn Matheson of Whapeton, ND, Bonnie Bloss and Carolyn Wilson (Richard); and her sister-in-law Sue Hedrick of Bascom, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
