She was predeceased by: her parents, William Samoda and Martha Kistler Samoda Fay; her husband James S. Cherocci Sr.; her daughter Shawndell Adair Samoda Muro; her brothers, Robert Maybie, John Flieshman and Ron Shaulis; and her stepfather Fred Fay.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley; her son-in-law Denny Long of Washington Twp; her grandchildren, Courtney Samoda, Falyn Samoda, Hannah Samoda and Christina Barcus; her great grandchild Jeffrey Lamar Carlock II; and her pet Pouncey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home - Belle Vernon (626 Broad Ave, Belle Vernon, PA 15012). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
