She was predeceased by: her husband John J. "Jack" Voelmle, Sr.; her parents, August Remer and Anna Grant Remer; and her siblings, Charles Remer and Augusta Myers.
She is survived by: her sibling Marion Riley (late John); her children, Carol A. Zemnick (Ronald) of Ivyland, Barbara M. Holdren (Donald, Sr.) of Holland, John J. Voelmle Jr. (Mariann) of Hershey and Alison T. Cacchio (John) of Richboro; her brother Richard Remer (Irene); and her sister-in-law Edna Remer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
