She is survived by: her children, Elaine Kakareka, Kenneth Kakareka (Irene) and Matthew Kakareka (Carol); her grandchildren, Ken, Stacy, Shana, Matt and Brianna; her great grandchild Dakota; her sisters, Frances Toole (Robert) and Veronica Rohland; her brother-in-law Bruce Barber; and her spouse Edwin Kakareka.
