He is survived by: his spouse Mary V. (Bischoff); his children, Carl G. Place Jr. (Denise) and Edmund R. Place (Diane); his grandchildren, Madison, Devon, Stephanie (Donny) and Jessica (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Donato, Adrian and Olivia. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
