He was predeceased by : his parents, Kimiko Takita (Kitagawa) and Riuichi Takita; his wife A. Jeannette Takita (Leahan); and his sister Catherine Ferguson. He is survived by : his children, Kim Takita (Paul), Charles Takita (Maggie), Kent Takita, Pamela McGlew (Kevin), Matthew Takita (Kelly), Monique Szczyrbak (Greg), Valerie Takita (Jen) and Kevin Takita; his siblings, Elsie Nagoshi and Larry Takita; and his niece Cori Leonard.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption BVM Church (1900 Meadowbrook Rd, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
