He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara (Gallagher) and Edward Gibbons, Sr.; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Ruth S.; his children, Edward M. (Anne-Marie) and Ann Cassidy (Michael); and his grandchildren, David Gibbons, Sara, Kathryn and Daniel Cassidy.
