He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rechtsteiner and Gertude Rechtsteiner; and his parents-in-law, Martin and Esther Burden. He is survived by: his wife Hope (Burden); his siblings, Arline Keenum (Jim), Pat Disario (Jim) and Richard Rechtsteiner (Susan); and his sisters-in-law, Lynne Burden Kramer and Janet Snyder (Erick). He is also survived by five nieces and two nephews.
