He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Waguespack (Chris), Bob (Roseann), Lisa Brennan (Mark) and Patrice Breen (Ed); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Peter (Sarah), Michael (Kaitlin), Pamela, Kelly (Bryan), David, Tracy (Matt), Kyle (Katerina), Justin, Ryan, Eric and Shauna; his great grandchildren, Emilee, Kaylee, Brayden, Jules, Reed, Patrick and Jack; his sister Joan; and his sibling-in-law Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
