Matthew left this world on September 24, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Palyas and Dorkus Stanec Palyas; his son Macie Palyas; and his siblings, George, Paul Palyas and Dorothy Jean Palyas.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Vihlidal Palyas; his daughter Beth Anne Ulens (Patrick) of Frederick, MD; his grandchildren, Kayla Hess (Bob) and Matthew Palyas; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Dominic and Matthew; and his daughter-in-law Darlene Palyas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home (619 Main St, Bentleyville, PA 15314). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
