He was predeceased by : his parents, Lemon Berkey and Violet Berkey (Snyder); his wife Grace Keefer; and his siblings, Sara Zerfoss, Elizabeth Holt, Patricia Gowarty and Mike Berkey.

He is survived by : his sons, Paul Jr. (Li) of Denton, MD and Brian (Rena); and his grandchildren, Heather Arocho (Julio), Heidi Williams (Tim), Jaime, Chase (Amanda), Brianna and Holly Berkey. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
