He was predeceased by : his parents, Ferdinand Douthat and Hazel Douthat Sr. (Belles); his former life partner Judith Douthat (Titus); his sons, Howard Douthat and David Douthat; and his siblings, Elizabeth Eveland, Launie Brown, Linda Lou Titus and Ferdinand Douthat Jr. (Bernard).
He is survived by : his wife Linda Kimmel; his children, Michael Douthat (Joyce Falatovich) of Nescopeck, Gary Douthat of Mocanaqua, James Douthat of Mocanaqua, Chris Douthat of Mocanaqua and Kimberly Szczepanski (Henry) of Mocanaqua; his daughter-in-law Susan Lennon of Shickshinny; and his grandchildren, Kayla Mulé (Joseph) of Berwick, Brandie Frields (Thomas) of Nescopeck, Cassidy Golazeski (Jon) of Danville and Christopher Douthat of Shickshinny.
