The memory of Lois Slocum of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Parks and Anna Parks; her husband James Slocum; her siblings, Martha Kanagy and David Parks; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Bickerton and Dewayne Kanagy.
She is survived by: her sister Miriam Bickerton; her sister-in-law Ida Mae Parks; her daughter Christy Heflin (Jim); her grandsons, Spencer and Bryce of Madison; her son Matt Slocum; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Anna of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by two children, four grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (44 Highland Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102).
