She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Barr and Evelyn Barr (Best); her husband Louis P. Gerheim; and her brother Thomas Barr. She is survived by: her son Rev. Thomas J. McLaughlin (Lisa) of Apollo; her stepdaughter Sheryl Seppa of New York; her granddaughters, Traci Doland and Tricia Rearick; and her sister Marilyn Rea of Kittanning. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
