He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Jeanette Tavares (Stahl); and his parents, Adelino, Sr. Tavares and Alzira Tavares (Valente). He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Kilgour (Kevin) of Bethlehem, Frank Tavares (Deneen) and Rita Jean Prugar (Joshua) of Bethlehem; his brother John Tavares (Mary Ann) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Spencer, Joshua Kilgour, Liam, Adelina Tavares, Brady and Bret Prugar; and his great grandchildren, Rosalee and Alana Kilgour.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Adelino Tavares Jr.'s name to Allentown Central Catholic High School for the Angel Scholarship Fund and or the Kairos Fund, care of Adrienne Motley, 301 N. 4th St., Allentown, PA 18102.
