He was predeceased by: his spouse Sophie Douvanis (Moralis); his parent Costas Douvanis; his son Costas "Gus" Douvanis; and his siblings, Daniel, Socrates, Helen Churilla and Mary Bonamo.

He is survived by: his parent Amelia Douvanis (Delgrosso); and his daughter Diane Bayer (Andrew) of Bethlehem. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
