He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Gerkvovich Rohal and Francis A. Rohal of Bethlehem, PA.; his brother Francis A. Rohal, Jr.; and his son-in-law Ian Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Mark Joseph Rohal, Kristen Rohal Sheffield, Kimberly Ann Rohal Gruse (Richard) and Charlotte Rene Ricaud; his grandchildren, Robert Joseph, Christian Michael and Caitlyn Mary Gruse; his siblings, Michael Rohal (Jan McNally Rohal) of New Jersey, Andrea Sentiwany (Jim) of Bethlehem, PA and Marlena Rohal (Patti) of Ottsville, PA.; his nephew Kyle Zimmerer (Kellie); his niece Trisha Tunis (Ed); and his close friend Tony Goudeau (Michele).
