She is survived by: her spouse Pierce Clarence Mattie Jr.; her parents, Carolyn E. of Pompano Beach and Howard M. Smith of Pompano Beach; her children, Michael Pierce Mattie of Bethlehem and Michelle-Anne of Northampton; and also Millward of Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Animals in Distress, Coopersburg, in her name.
