He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hammer and Julia Hammer (Wasichko). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Sheri Gallagher (Edward) and Jennifer Ackerman (Thomas); his grandchildren, Sean, Kate, Brett, Brendan, Quinn and Julia; and his great grandchildren, Evie and Addie.
