He is survived by: his spouse Terry Foster (Alcorn) of Suffield, Conn; his son Timothy Wells Foster (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Dakota Campbell Foster, Reed Alcorn Foster, Haley Wells Garton and Ian Hatheway Garton; and his brother Mark Wingate Foster of Washington, D. C..
