It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Michels (Birdsboro, Pennsylvania), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Joseph and Loraine Elizabeth Bucher (Yates); her husband Jacob J. Michels; her stepfather Meridith Petty; and her sisters, Shirley Snyder, Sharon Dimmitt and Sandra Chapman.

She is survived by : her son Boy Scout; her brother Thomas Bucher; her children, Jeffrey A. Michels, Michael D. Michels, Tamara J. Darrah (Michels) and Jacquelyn S. Hammock (Michels); her grandchildren, Amanda, Maria, Brian, Robert, Dylan, Alex and Tory; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Katelyn, William and Tate.
