He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Eugene Messner and Dorothy Messner (Bodolus); and his brother Timothy Messner. He is survived by: his children, Heidi R. (Christopher Grubb) of Douglassville, PA, Tiffany A. Messner (Kurt MacNair) of Harleysville, PA and Barry L., Jr. (Michele Katzin); his siblings, Eugene, Terry, Theodore, Christopher and Gail; and his grandchildren, London, Everett, Declan, Cavanaugh and Aurora.
