He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Knittle Sr. and Amy Amelia Knittle (Leininger); and his siblings, Jennie Butts, Joan James, Carol Dillow, Linda Staller and Robert Knittle.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joan Knittle (Hill) of Birdsboro; and his children, Harry G. Knittle III, Sandra Jean Ostroski (Joseph Ostroski), Joan Marie Schaeffer (Jeff Schaeffer) of Douglassville, David Alan Knittle (Pamela Knittle) of Pottstown, Karin Lynn Small of Birdsboro, Donald Gary Knittle (Sutjit Knittle) of St. Augustine, Florida, Susan Linda Brower (Ted Brower) of Birdsboro, Claire Antrim-Mayberry of Royersford and Christine Louise Johnston (Robert Johnston) of Lansdale. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bean Funeral Homes (129 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
