He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Melvin Painter and Emma Painter (Myers); his wife Betty Jane Painter (Martin); his sister Elizabeth Peifer; and his grandson Chad A. Painter.
He is survived by: his children, Mark L. Painter of Royersford, PA and Cynthia J. Painter of Lancaster, PA; his sister Margaret Johnson of Emmaus, PA; his grandchildren, Kyle (Jenna Painter) of Oxford, PA and Molly (Christian Schappel) of Rising Sun, MD; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Carson, Juliet, Emmet and Emery.
