She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Wells and Kathryn M. Wells (Reed); her husband Roger K. Kurtz; and her siblings, James E. Wells, Jr. and Josephine W. Hershey.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia W. Hartman; her children, Ann E. Shingle (Mark Hassler), Jean L. Volgarino (Daryl) and John E. Kurtz (Mary Beth Fabio); and her grandchildren, Devin C. Shingle (Chris Buylova), Daniel, Nathan Shivers, Emma and Jack Kurtz.
