With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Hales Jr. (Blairsville, Pennsylvania), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James H. Hales Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James H. Hales, Sr. and Avril Hales (Robertson); and his grandson Evan McCullock. He is survived by : his wife Esther Hales (Huey) of Blairsville, PA; his children, Derek Hales (Shannon) and Brandee Chandler (Robert); his stepsons, Brooke McDonough of Export, PA and Joseph Frankenberry of Roanoke, VA; and his brother Barry Hales (Cathy) of Reedsville, NC.. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Housing for Homeless Veterans in Pittsburgh, PA.
