He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Matone and Jean Davis Matone; his sons, Jason and Phillip Matone; his granddaughter Kaylee Matone; and his brothers, Michael and Gene Matone.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hobbs; his daughter Jessica Matone Davailus; and his grandchildren, Lexi Matone, Cayden Croop, Bryce Croop and Alex Heise. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc. (55 Lincoln Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407).
