He was predeceased by: his father Edward W. Meskel; his children, Edward R. Meskel and Danielle Meskel; and his grandson De'Niro Harris. He is survived by: his mother Theresa Meskel; his wife Linda Meskel; his children, Mandy Meskel, Geoffrey J. Meskel Jr. and Charleyne Meskel (Sid); his stepchildren, Thomas and Samuel Kaminski; his grandchildren, Skyler, Gregory, Truly, Honesty, Gigi and Idris; his godchild Skyler; and his siblings, Edward F. Meskel, Annie Mullin (Paul), Mike Meskel (Diane), Terry Smith (Dave) and LeeAnn Pentek (Lee).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward Church (448 Walnut St, Pittsburgh, PA 15238). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St Augustine Cemetery (250 Wible Run Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15209).
