He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Spangler and Edna Mae; and his sons, Robert P. Kraus and Thomas Spangler. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Spangler (Sohmer) of Bloomsburg; his daughters, Janet L. Siegman (Glenn) of Mount Pleasant, IA and Diane M. Watkins of Bloomsburg; his daughter-in-law Heide Kraus of Bensalem, PA; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Massahos (Mat), Michael Kraus, Adam Siegman (Amanda), Lindsay Davis (Elliot), Ashley Ellison (Ryan), Kristie Siegman, Billy Watkins (Davina), Kyle Watkins and Olivia Watkins. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
