He was predeceased by: his father John Smith Scrimgeour Sr.; and his wife Jeananne Evans. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Landis, Lynne Gibson (Rob) and Leanne Lovice (David); his sister Virginia Ravin; his grandchildren, Alex Landis (Talia), Andrew Lovice (Mallory), Sydney Lovice, Ian Lovice, Reed Gibson and Gray Gibson; his great grandchildren, Harris Lovice and Bowen Landis; his brother-in-law David Evans (Carol); and his caregiver Heather Austin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a wealth of friends.
