He is survived by: his children, Chantel Hess (Ben), Brock Gurns (Angelina Burd), Braedon Gurns (Sarah Freeman) and Ryker Gurns; his wife Miranda A. Gurns (Bankus); his grandchildren, Westin, Neveah, Emmerson "Emmy" and Perri; his siblings, JoAnne Gurns (Wade Deska), John Gurns and Jeff Gurns; and his close friend Roseanne Simons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heller Funeral Home (633 E 3rd St, Nescopeck, PA 18635).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
