He was predeceased by: his parents, Calogero Armeli and Emmanuela Armeli; and his brothers, Louis Armeli and Frank Armeli. He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis; his sons, Joseph L. Jr. (Jennifer), John S. and Stephen R. (Mary); and his grandchildren, Julia, Nicholas, Catherine and Elizabeth.
