With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Lape (Boswell, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth E. Brown and Mamie C. Brown (Fahrner); and her husband Jay M. Lape, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Michelle A, Frank Pletcher, Kimberly A. Lape and Jay M. Lape, Jr.; her grandchildren, Charles Shunk, Forest Wright, Antonio Clark and Damian Vasos; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Pletcher, Braydon Whipkey, Ivan Wright, Amir Baker and Scarlett Wright; and her brother-in-law Dale Lape (Bonnie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
