She was predeceased by : her parent James Martin Hoffman; her husband John Kirk Mahan; and her son-in-law James Richard Powell. She is survived by : her parent Cora May Tanner Hoffman; her daughter Julie E. Powell of Slippery Rock; her grandchildren, Judith Mahan of Stamford, Jenny Kaplan (Bryan) of Pittsburgh and Joshua Powell (Emily) of Erie; and her great grandchildren, Evan Kaplan and Aiden Kaplan.
