He was predeceased by: his parent Lena Michlen (Castanova). He is survived by: his parent George J. Michlen; his daughters, Desiree Michlen Barrasso (Matt), Melise Maloney and Halina Agadis (Tony); his grandchildren, Landon, Kyryn, Niya, Maura, Teige Barrasso and Gavin Maloney; his siblings, Maryann Mahoney and James Michlen; and his nephew Johnny Mahoney.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2201 Ridgewood Rd. #180, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
