He was predeceased by: his wife Betty L. Hoffman (Bernhard); his parents, Ammon Hoffman and Addie Hoffman (Stengel); his siblings, Verna, Walter and Homer; and his stepsiblings, Edna, Russell, Ernest, Chester and Ralph.
He is survived by: his children, Debra L. (late Thomas Pienta) of Sanatoga, Craig S. Hoffman (Paula) of Boyertown, Philip K. Hoffman (Denise) of Boyertown, Glenn D. Hoffman (Tammy) of Gilbertsville, Matthew D. Hoffman (Dawn) of Douglassville and Joanne E. Hoffman (Jennifer Fox) of Maple Shade, NJ; and his sister Mabel Schultz. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Christ Lutheran Church or the Boyertown Multi Service Meals on Wheels.
