He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Garland and Margie Conrad; and his sisters, Judy Zahornacky and Barbara Jean Boyden. He is survived by: his wife Anna V. Garland (Oleyar) of Bradenville; his sons, James L. Garland Jr. (Marci) of Blairsville and Scott A. Garland of Bradenville; and his grandson Lucas Garland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
