Bertha L. Starkweather Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha L. Starkweather of Bradford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Hassek and Josephine Zomskiwki Hassek; her husband Robert E. Starkweather; and her son Robert Starkweather. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Anne Bigley (Jay Meabon) of Bradford, Mary Beth Hassek (Jack) of Summerton, SC and Jeanne Haynes (Tim) of Bradford; her grandchildren, Larry Bigley, Corey Bigley, Gary Bigley, Amy Rich, Melody Yale and Michael Haynes; and her godson Richard Smith of Rixford. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; her nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions to be donated to the Bradford Area Public Library, 67 West Washington St., Bradford, PA 16701 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
