She was predeceased by : her parents, Burtis Moore and Artrolia Moore (Chisler); her husband Dr. William D. Nichols (Nick); her sons, David W. Nichols and William Geoffrey Nichols; and her sisters, Cleda Vecellio (Moore), Frankie Stewart (Moore), Glenda Mahaney (Moore) and Martha Dell Toothman (Moore).

She is survived by : her daughter Rebecca L. Skinner (Nichols) of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Amanda Nichols of Philadelphia, Gabriella Skinner of San Francisco, CA, Sophia Lauren Skinner Garcia of Honolulu, HI, Mikenzee Nichols of Rock Hill, SC, Bradyn Nichols of Rock Hill, SC and Zeth Nichols of Rock Hill, SC; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Nichols (Geoff) of Rock Hill, SC..
