She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Edison and Jessie Edison (Sneath); her husband Robert Shannon; her sister Shirley A. Birtcil; and her nephew Max "Bud" Birtcil Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Lynne M. Kuntz (Douglas) of Bradford, Kent R. Shannon (Patti) of Pingree Grove, IL, Thomas R. Shannon (Dawn) of Endwell, NY and Patrick J. Shannon (Carol) of Bradford; her grandchildren, Kelly Shannon, Lisa (Brian), Shane Shannon (Dawn), Brad Shannon (Kaylene), Ryan Shannon (Jessica), Erin Wilday (Ed), Kaelyn Winters (Trevor), Tynan (Michelle), Zachary (Aurora), Heather Kuntz and Derrick Kuntz; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Shannon, Reilly Shannon, Samuel Shannon, McKenzie Shannon, Kylie Shannon, Shawn Shannon, Lily Shannon, Shea Shannon, Abree Wilday, Colin Wilday, Aspyn Winters and Tycen McCammon; and her sibling's children, Lori Johnson, Terrie Mascho and Mike Birtcil.
