He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon H. Godding and Ruth V. Godding (Strait); his close friend Barbara Smith; and his siblings, Charles Godding, Robert Terry Godding and Betty Fink.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn McEneany of Columbus, OH, Joy Confer (Dan) of Bradford and Joseph Godding (Deena) of Bradford; his stepchildren, Michelle Smith and Michael Weaver; his grandchildren, Filane Crumrine (Kyle), Cullen Godding (Alicia), Sarah McEneany, Blaise McEneany, Gretchen Henneman, Brendan Confer and Evan Confer; and his great grandchildren, Gannon Godding, Blakely Godding, Kailena Crumrine and Corydon Crumrine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
