Edward S. Konwinski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward S. Konwinski of Bradford, Pennsylvania, born in Dunkirk, New York, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Edward Konwinski and Hattie Konwinski (Stefaniak); his wife Doris Konwinski (Ward); and his siblings, Clement Konwinski, Mildred Rutkowski, Henrietta Borowski, Angeline Anderson and Richard Konwinski.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Konwinski (Jill) of Bradford, Robert Konwinski (Sharon), Donald Konwinski of Bradford and Laurie Konwinski (Todd Saddler) of Ithaca, N. Y.; his grandchildren, Edward R. Konwinski Jr., Michele Donovan (Dan), Joseph Konwinski (Rokhsanna Sadeghi) and Kenny Konwinski; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Elijah, Hattie, Ruby Donovan, Theodora, Eloise, Clement and Julian Konwinski; his children, Cade, Drake, Elisa, Michele Hayden, Logan, Derek and Lucas; and also Chad Hayden (Tanya). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Masks and social distancing will be required at both gatherings, in keeping with Dr. Konwinski's legacy as a man of science who dedicated his life to caring for other people.
