She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Karnes and Betty Karnes (Tamburin); her husband Donald B. Naughton; and her daughters, Linda Bird and Deborah Hilton.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Battaglia (Rich) of Raleigh, NC and Bruce Naughton (Christine) of Cary, NC; her sons-in-law, Joseph M. Bird of Pittsboro, NC and Bob Hilton of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughters, Katie Naughton, Taylor Hines and Elizabeth Yaros; and her sisters, Carol McGarry of Chambersburg and Cheryl Sheldon of Smethport.
