She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Mowrer; her siblings, Horace and Joan Louise; her aunt Sara Miller; and her daughter Leslie Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Luther D. Dromgold; her children, Lisa Bender (Wayne), Ladd Dromgold (Cathy), Lynnette Wolfe (Jeffrey) and Laurie Menyo (Stephen); her grandchildren, Liz Bouk (Dan), Allison Adams (Jared), Michelle Sermen (Mehmet), Alexander Bender, Nicholas Bender (Sara), Matthew Menyo (Jane), Andrew Menyo, Theresa Husta (Brian) and Renee Wolfe; and her great grandchildren, William Bouk, Clara Adams, Zoey Adams, Oliver Adams, Carson Menyo and Nolan Sermen.
Although the pandemic isolated Phyllis to her room for nearly a year, she never complained. She was very excited to welcome three new great grandsons during the pandemic and she loved hearing about their activities.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in memory of Phyllis to Shepherdstown UMC, Central PA Food Bank, or a charity of your choice.
