He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel John and Phyllis Chesnut (Turnbull); his brother Theodore Chesnut; and his stepsister Karla Hewitt. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy D. Chesnut (Barron); his children, JoEllen Wankel (Terry) of Bradford, Stephen Chesnut (Lisa) of Gales Ferry and Joseph Chesnut (Lorie) of Beaver; his stepdaughter Jessica Rossi (Matt) of Charlotte; his brother Larry Chesnut (Debbie) of DuBois; his sister-in-law Jeanne O'Rourke Chesnut of Altmar, NY; and his stepsisters, Dixie McGavisk of Smethport, Bonnie Conklin of Clarendon and Judie Kahle of Cuba.
