He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. Farnsworth and Bertha May Farnsworth (Chitister); his former wife Delores M. Harris; his wife Mary Ellen Farnsworth (Vaughn); and his grandson Charles Shaffner.
He is survived by: his children, Starr Slivis (Tim) of Kane, Robert Farnsworth, Jr of Kane and Kevin Farnsworth (Nellie) of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Brenda Shaffner (Charles) of Portville, Jayne Lucco of Bradford and Robert Pierotti, Jr of Colorado Springs, CO; and his siblings, Jennie Weidow of Kane and Charles A. Farnsworth. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
